The Government of Grenada is pleased to submit its First National Communication to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This Initial Communication is indicative of our commitment to fulfill our obligations under the Convention, a commitment that is evidenced by the Action Plan which has been developed to address the key issues identified in the process of preparing this Initial Communication. This Action Plan is aimed at initiating processes to mitigate our greenhouse gas emissions and at formulating a national response to the adverse impacts of climate change on our country.
