Climate proofing is an essential tool in climate related project management. Therefore, a climate screening has been executed during the planning phase of the Climate-Resilient Water Sector Project in Grenada (G-CREWS). During the implementation phase the screening was extended to a full climate proofing process to ensure, on the one hand, that the infrastructure to be built under the project contributes to the climate resilience of the water sector and, on the other hand, that the planned activities are resilient with respect to extreme climate events that may affect the island in the future.
