Description

Grenada is extremely vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change, particularly extreme weather events (hurricanes, storms, changing rainfall patterns, high temperatures etc), sea level rise1 and storm surges, and ecosystem damage from untreated sewage causing significant damage its coral reefs. Grenada’s continued reliance on fossil fuels limits its ability to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to meet its global climate mitigation targets.
