No Objection Procedure: It is the process through which the NDA ensures that project proposals put forward to the GCF have genuine country ownership and stakeholder buy-in. It validates that those projects are contributing to achieving national climate targets and priorities and aligned with national strategies and plans. It is mandatory to accompany the submission of a project proposal to the GCF for funding with a letter of no-objection issued by the NDA.
